In improved pasture, to the immediate N of a drainage ditch and 75m W of a townland boundary with Kilcullane. An archaeological complex consisting of a church, graveyard, penitential station and a holy well (LI032-063001-/02-/03-/04-) are located 240m to SW. Not depicted on OSi historic maps. Monument identified by the Bruff aerial photographic survey in 1986 (Bruff 213: AP 5/2012) as a pennanular-shaped cropmark which is open from E-SE-SSE. Monument is visible as a suboval-shaped cropmark (55m N-S; 44m E-W) on OSi orthoimage taken 2005-2012, on Digital Globe orthoimage taken 2011-2013 and on Google Earth orthoimages taken 07/05/2006 and 20/09/2020.
