In low-lying, wet pasture, which is cut by land drains and watercourses, on the floodplain of the Camoge River, which is 75m to W and also marks a townland boundary with Kilcullane. Enclosure (LI032-081----) lies 60m to SW and ring-barrow (LI032-207----) lies 165m to NE. Not depicted on OSi historic maps. Monument identified by the Bruff aerial photographic survey in 1986 (Bruff 280: AP 4/3607), as a small circular-shaped cropmark. Monument is visible as a small circular-shaped earthwork (diam. 10m) defined by a fosse, which is best seen on OSi orthoimage taken 2005-2012 and is visible as a faint roughly circular-shaped cropmark on Digital Globe orthoimage taken 2011-2013 and on Google Earth orthoimage taken 25/05/2017.
