In improved pasture, 88m W of a watercourse which also marks a townland boundary with Grangeo. Not depicted on OSi historic maps. Monument identified by the Bruff aerial photographic survey in 1986 (Bruff 167: AP 4/3601), as a substantial D-shaped enclosure. Monument is clearly visible as a D-shaped enclosure (85m NE-SW; 65m NW-SE) defined by a scarp from S-W-N-NE and along the straight side by a linear ditch running NE-SW, on OSi orthoimage taken 2005-2012, on Digital Globe orthoimage taken 2011-2013 and on Google Earth orthoimage taken 16/03/2016.
