At the N end of the historic settlement of Hospital (LI032-147001-), with Kenmare Castle (LI032-147005-) and the River Mahore 110m to N. The medieval church ruins (LI032-147002-) of the Hospital of Any belonging to the Order of the Knights Hospitallers dedicated to St. John the Baptist stands in N quadrant of graveyard which has been extended to the W. 19th century St. John the Baptist's R.C. Church stands in NW quadrant of graveyard. Site of St. John's Well (LI032-147004-) 67m to N. The graveyard consists of a rectangular shaped area (approx. dims. 54m N-S x 83m E-W) enclosed by post-1700 stone wall with entrance gate at NE. The N boundary of the present churchyard forms the townland boundary with Millfarm. The graveyard contains memorials dating from the post-1700 period with some architectural fragments of the church ruins reused as gravemarkers.
