In improved pasture, on the summit of Hospital Hill (383ft/117m), 350m NE of a townland boundary with Millfarm. An earthwork complex (LI032-146001-) lies 190m to NW and a barrow (LI032-149001-), a ring-barrow (LI032-149003-) and an enclosure (LI032-150----) lie 210m to ESE, 290m to SE and 295m to E respectively. Depicted on the 1897 ed. OSi 25-inch map as a suboval-shaped platform (80m ENE-WSW; 66m NNW-SSE) defined by a scarp. Monument visible as an earthwork on oblique aerial photograph taken 20/07/1968 (CUCAP AVT025). Upstanding monument visible as an oval-shaped platform (69m NW-SE; 60m NE-SW) defined by a scarp with a mound (31m NW-SE; 60m NE-SW) in the centre on OSi orthoimages taken 2005-2012, on Digital Globe orthoimages taken 2011-2013 and on Google Earth orthoimages taken 28/06/2018. A water tower (NIAH ref. 21811033; built 1925-1945) stands in the SE quadrant.
