Post-1700 church stands on site of medieval church of Knockainy in centre of rectangular-shaped graveyard (approx. dims. 58m N-S x 81m E-W) enclosed by a post-1700 stone wall with entrance gate at W. St. Mary's Well (LI032-141010-) located S of graveyard wall.
