Stone fort described by O'Kelly (1944, 22) as following; 'A small fort consisting of a circular bank surrounding an open space. The rampart, now 2' 6" [0.76m] high, is very collapsed and the entrance is not recognisable. Overall diameter 108' [33m]. Ancient fences are visible in its vicinity'.
In 2004 this cashel was described as following; 'This oval enclosure measures 25m east-west and is surrounded by a stone bank. Its slightly dished interior is featureless. A possible entrance feature occurs at the south' (Condit and Coyne 2004).
