In pasture on the former deer park of the demesne of Cahir Guillamore House (LI031-041019-). Within S quadrant of field system (LI031-041001-) and deserted medieval settlement (LI031-041009-) with medieval house (LI031-041012-) 45m to W. Castle site (LI031-041014-) 250m to E. Not depicted on OSi historic maps. Identified as a road by Ó Ríordáin and Hunt (1942, 43) and described as: ‘A number of roads shown on the aerial photograph and also on the ground’ (ibid. 43). The monument is visible as a linear cropmark (Wth. c. 10m) defined by an earthen bank on either side that runs S for 220m before branching SE (L 100m) and W (L 120m) on OSi orthoimage taken between 2005-12. The outline of the road is clearly visible on Digital Globe orthoimage taken 25/03/2017.
