In low-lying pasture, cut by land drains and watercourses, 420m E of a townland boundary with Lacka. Enclosure (LI031-026----) and ring-barrow (LI031-028----) lie 35m to SW and 90m to NE, respectively. Not depicted on OSi historic maps. Monument is visible on 1:5000 Bórd Gáis Éireann Curraghleigh West-Limerick gas pipeline aerial photograph (No. 2497) as a circular-shaped earthwork. Monument is visible on map of Limerick Pipeline – Curraleigh West (Ref. Map 6, Site 6/31). Monument is not visible on OSi aerial orthoimage taken 2005-2012, or on Digital Globe aerial orthoimage taken 2011-2013 or on Google Earth orthoimage taken 16/03/2016.
