On a NW-facing slope, in pasture 150m SW of a townland boundary with Rathmore North. An enclosure (LI022-128----) lies 95m to N. Not depicted on OSi historic maps. Monument surveyed by the ASI in 2007 and described as an oval-shaped area (26m N-S; 20m E-W) defined by a scarp from NNW-N-E and the remains of a levelled bank (Wth 16m; int. H 0.35m; ext. H 0.85m) from E-ESE-SE. Monument is levelled from SE-WNW with a farmyard from WNW-NW-NNW. There are traces of an external fosse (Wth 16.2m; D 0.4m) visible from E-ESE. Monument is visible as a semicircular-shaped cropmark on OSi aerial orthoimage taken 2005-2012, on Digital Globe orthoimage taken 2011-2013 and on Google Earth orthoimage taken 25/03/2017.
