In pasture, on NNE-facing hill side. Formerly circular area (diam. 30.5m N-S) but now truncated on W side by field boundary (boundary to edge of enclosure: 25.5m E-W). Area defined by scarped edge (H 1.8m; Wth 9.65m) WNW->SSW, though base of scarp truncated SE->SSW by remains of field boundary which is shown on 1841 OS 6-inch map. Interior, sloping down gently to S, is covered by thistles.
