Holy well described by Ó Danachair as following; ' "Toberregan" on 1840 map. A slight trickle of water issuing from the eroded river bank. No devotions now, but rounds were made formerly. The water cured headaches. Locally called "Egan's Well" ' (Ó Danachair 1955, 209).
