In flat pasture 560m SW of the townland boundary with Carrigeen. Located 700m NW of a large enclosure (LI030-185----). The site is depicted as an embanked fort annotated ‘Lisnamoyle’ on the 1840 ed. OSi 6-inch map. Depicted as a ringfort (ext. dims. c. 52m N-S; 45m E-W) on the 1897 ed. OSi 25-inch map with an entrance (Wth. 7m) at SE. Poorly preserved monument (int. dims. c. 43m N-S; 34m E-W) visible on the OSi orthoimage taken 2005-12 and on Digital Globe orthoimages taken 2011-2013. The site is visible on Google Earth orthoimage taken 05/02/2009, 08/04/2015 and 14/02/2020. The Google Earth orthoimage taken 08/04/2015 suggests that the site is comprised of a central enclosure surrounded by a bank, fosse and external bank.
