In pasture, atop low hill. Monument, depicted as roughly circular embanked enclosure (diam. c. 40m) on 1923 OS 6-inch map, is now largely covered by dense overgrowth. Enclosing element partially accessible E->S showing it to consist of earthen bank (int. H 0.45m; ext. H 1.85m), with external fosse (Wth 1.2m; D 0.3m) SE->S. Bank has remains of stone revetment on both faces at ESE. At NNE short arc of earth-and-stone bank (H 0.65m), c. 2m outside bank, probably remains of counterscarp/outer bank. Field boundary skirts enclosure SW->NW.
