In pasture, on gentle S-facing slope, immediately S of public road. Oval area (30m N-S; 25m E-W) enclosed by two roughly concentric earthen banks with intervening and external fosse. Inner bank (int. H 0.4m; ext. H 1.5m), best preserved SE->WSW, becomes scarp-like W->N. Outer bank (int. H 1.1m; ext. H 0.6m), wide and flat-topped (Wth 3m), is clipped by public road NNW->NNE. Waterlogged intervening fosse (Wth 2.2m; D 0.5m), infilled with earth and stones at SE, widens at W (Wth 4m). Outer fosse (Wth 1.4m; D 0.3m) is not evident NNW->NNE. Gap in outer bank (Wth 4m) at W. Space between banks widens (Wth 14.5m) along NE arc. Level interior under pasture. A mature oak tree stands atop inner bank at S.
