In pasture, on NE-facing slope just below brow of hill. Oval area (28.2m N-S; 24.7m E-W) enclosed by earthen bank (int. H 0.3m; ext. H 1.45m) with external fosse (D 1.15m; Wth 2.2m), and by external earth-and-stone bank (int. H 0.85m; ext. H 0.7m) NE->S. Mature deciduous trees grow along enclosing element. Entrance at ENE where break in both banks (Wth 2.8m) correspond with causeway across fosse; gap (Wth 8.6m) in bank at W not matched by causeway. Interior is level and under pasture.
