What is recorded here

In pasture, on E-facing slope. Roughly circular area (26m N-S; 27m E-W) enclosed by earthen bank with external fosse (Wth 2.3m; D 0.6m). Bank (int. H 0.45m; ext. H 0.95m) is best preserved W->NE. Break in bank (Wth 2m) at SSE. An ESB pole stands atop bank at SE. Fosse is best preserved W->NE where field boundary runs along outer edge, but very shallow NE->SE were it is covered by nettles.
