In undulating pasture, on gentle NNE-facing slope and below top of gentle rise. Roughly circular area (33m N-S; 36m E-W) defined by scarped edge (H 0.3m; Wth 4m) WSW->ESE, and enclosed by earthen bank (int. H 0.35m), incorporated into field boundary, ESE->WSW. External fosse evident ESE->WSW but elsewhere obscured by dense overgrowth. Interior is flat and under pasture.
