In undulating pasture, on gentle SE-facing slope. Circular area (38m N-S; 39m E-W) enclosed by earthen bank with external fosse. Bank (int. H 0.4m; ext. H 2.15m) has low internal height especially along N arc and is eroded by cattle at E. Entrance with causeway (Wth 5m) across fosse at NW. Fosse (Wth 2m; D 1.2m) well defined and waterlogged. Interior flat and under pasture but with some overgrowth in SW quadrant. Field boundaries abut outer edge of fosse at WSW and NNW.
