In pasture, on gentle NE-facing slope. Circular area (diam. c. 30m) enclosed by two concentric earthen banks with intervening fosse (Wth 1.6m), but enclosing element truncated E->SE by trackway travelling NE-SSW; enclosure is depicted as complete circle on 1841 OS 6-inch map. Trackway has now been removed, apart from that portion crossing enclosure. Inner bank is covered by dense overgrowth, apart from section at SSW (int. H 0.3m; ext. H 0.8m), and has been eroded by cattle in places. Outer bank (int. H 0.7m; ext. H 0.6m) is mostly covered by dumps of rubble and earth. Interior is covered by trees and bushes.
