What is recorded here

No visible surface trace of church within levelled graveyard (LI028-131002-). Dedicated to St Rodan; no vestige of site in 1840 (OSL vol. 1, 24). Described in the Ordnance Survey Letters as 'there was a little church and burial ground dedicated to St. Rodan, but both have been destroyed and the spot which they occupied is now part of a meadow' (ibid.). Westropp (1904-5, 402) recorded the following details on Kilrodane; ‘Kilrodan, with New Grange, 1349 (Close R.); Kilvidane, 1657 (D.S.B. 7). Site - The church and graveyard are now levelled'.
