In pasture, on E-facing slope. Oval area (28m N-S; 23m E-W) defined by scarped edge (H 0.95m; Wth 6m) NE->SSW, and enclosed by earthen bank (int. H 0.95m; ext. H 1.2m) SSW->NNW, and by slightly curving field boundary probably incorporating bank NNW->NNE. Interior is under pasture and slopes gently down to E. Opening, with gate, through bank at NNW leading onto slightly raised trackway (Wth 4.1m) which crosses N edge of enclosure on E-W axis. Field boundaries, not shown on 1923 OS 6-inch map, abut bank at SSW and W.
