Atop rise, in gently undulating pasture. Roughly circular area (51.1m N-S; 56m E-W) defined by scarped edge (H 1.35m; Wth 2m) with external fosse re-cut to form drain (Wth 2m; D 1.1m) WNW->ESE, and enclosed by partially levelled earthen bank (int. H 0.2m; ext. H 0.15m) with external fosse (D c. 0.15m; Wth 2.8m) ESE->WNW. Faint traces of counterscarp bank (int. H 0.1m; ext. H 0.2m) evident at SSE and SW->WNW. Interior clear of overgrowth and slopes gently down to SE.
