In pasture, on gentle W-facing slope. Circular area (24.2m N-S; 22m E-W) enclosed by earthen bank (int. H 0.75m; ext. H 1.35m) WNW->NNE, and at SSE, and defined by scarped edge (H 0.9m; Wth 4m) elsewhere. Slight dip towards base of scarp N->E may indicate silted up fosse. Bank densely overgrown with thorn bushes. Drain, running N-S, truncates base of scarp at W. Interior under pasture and E third slightly lower than remainder.
