In undulating pasture, on gentle SE-facing slope and immediately N of road. Roughly circular area (47.5m N-S; 51m E-W) enclosed by earthen bank (int. H 0.8m; ext. H 1.9m) E->NNE, and defined by scarped edge (H 0.85m; Wth 2m) NNE->E, with external fosse (Wth 2.4m; D 0.5m) SSW->SSE. Fosse is truncated elsewhere by farm passageway and public road. Interior, under pasture, slopes down to E.
