In low-lying marshy ground, 12m E of stream, and surrounded by higher ground. Oval area (26m N-S; 30m E-W) enclosed by earthen bank WSW->S and defined by scarped edge (H 0.3m; Wth 1.75m) S->WSW, with external bank entirely surrounding bank and scarp and separated from them by waterlogged fosse (Wth 3.75m). Inner bank is best preserved WSW->NE (int. H 0.65m; ext. H 1.05m). Dip in bank (Wth 4.5m) at ENE. Outer bank (int. H 0.4m; ext. H 0.25m) is best preserved NW->ESE and also dips slightly at ENE. Interior is flat and marshy with stands of irises. Ringfort (LI028-056---) 50m to NNW.
