In pasture, on gentle E-facing slope, immediately below top of low hill. Circular area (32m N-S; 32m E-W) enclosed by earth-and-stone bank with external fosse. Bank (int. H 1.05m; ext. H 2.4m) evident all round and has traces of internal stone facing at W and ENE. Gaps in bank at N (Wth 4m) and SSE (Wth 4.4m); N gap now closed by gate and has causeway across fosse, possibly of recent construction; S gap marked by slump of bank material into fosse. Fosse (Wth 2.3m; D 0.4m) best preserved SW->S, barely discernible N->NE, and is poached by cattle ESE->S. Interior surface has been churned up by farm machinery, and loose stone derived from eroding bank litter its perimeter. Field boundaries abut fosse at W and bank at ESE and S.
