In low-lying wet pasture, which is cut by land drains and watercourses, 20m N of a townland boundary with Coolbaun. Not depicted on OSi historic maps. The central of a cluster of three ring-barrows (LI024-309001-/002-/003-) which are aligned in a row running NW-SE. Monument identified by Emmet Byrnes, Forest Service archaeologist in 2010 and described as a low profile circular-shaped mound (diam. 7.6m; H 0.4m) defined by a shallow fosse (Wth 1m) and an outer bank (approx. Wth 2.4m; approx. H 0.4m) (SMR file). Forestry planted to W and N. Monument is visible as a roughly circular-shaped cropmark on OSi orthophoto taken 2005-2012, on Digital Globe orthophotos and on Google Earth orthoimage taken 18/11/2018.
