In low-lying rough pasture, cut by land drains and watercourses, 190m E of a townland boundary with Ballyhurst. Not depicted on OSi historic maps. Ring-barrows (LI024-053003-/265----) lie 35m to S and 125m to NW, respectively and a standing stone (LI024-290----) lies 45m to NE. Monument identified as a subcircular-shaped cropmark by the Bruff aerial photographic survey in 1986 (Bruff 266: AP 4/3677). Monument is not visible on OSi orthophoto taken 2005-2012, or on Digital Globe orthoimage taken 2011-2013 or on Google Earth orthoimage taken 18/11/2018.
