What is recorded here

On flat pasture 25m E of a N-S field drain and 125m E of the townland boundary with Ballyshoneen. The ring-barrow is 50m S of an earthwork (LI024-268----). The monument is not depicted on historic OSi maps. It is visible on OSi orthoimages taken 2005-12. Not visible on the Digital Globe orthoimages taken 2011-2013. Identified by Bruff aerial photographic survey in 1986 (Bruff 41; AP 4/3672) as a circular ring-barrow (ext. diam. c. 10m) comprised of a central mound surrounded by a fosse and external bank. The ring-barrow is faintly visible on the Google Earth orthoimages taken 18/11/2018.
