In wet pasture 10m S of the townland boundary with Ballyhurst and 15m W of the townland boundary with Ballyshoneen. Enclosure (LI024-231----) 20m to NE. The ringfort (LI024-052----) known as ‘Rathaniska’ lies 35m to ESE. The enclosure is not depicted on historic OSi maps, nor is it visible on OSi orthoimages taken 2005-12 or on Digital Globe orthoimages taken 2011-2013. Tentatively identified by Bruff aerial photographic survey in 1986 (Bruff 103; AP 4/3672) as a circular enclosure (ext. dims. c. 42m N-S; 48m E-W). The site is faintly visible on the most recent Google Earth orthoimages taken 18/11/2018.
