What is recorded here

On reclaimed pasture with Glenatrahaun Stream 70m to SE forming the townland boundary with Coologe. The monument forms part of a group of five ring-barrows (LI024-322/-225----) and a ditch-barrow (LI024-070----) within 110m to the N and NE. The ring-barrow is not depicted on historic OSi maps, but it is visible on OSi orthoimages taken 2005-12 or on Digital Globe orthoimages taken 2011-2013. Identified by Bruff aerial photographic survey in 1986 (Bruff 30; AP 4/3668) as a circular ring-barrow (ext. diam. c. 11.5m N-S; 10.5m E-W) and consists of a central circular area surrounded by a fosse. The enclosure is visible on the Google Earth orthoimages taken 18/11/2018.
