On undulating pasture 90m SE from the townland boundary with Cloghaderreen. One of three barrows (LI024-199001- and LI024-200----) outlying a ring-barrow cemetery (LI024-219/220----; LI024-325/-332----) 300m to W. The pond-barrow is not depicted on historic OSi maps, but is visible on OSi orthoimages taken 2005-12 or on Digital Globe orthoimages taken 2011-2013. Identified by Bruff aerial photographic survey in 1986 (Bruff 9; AP 4/3626) as a circular pond-barrow (ext. diam. c. 24m). The internal pond (int. diam. c. 14m) is surrounded by an external fosse (Wth 2m) that defines the exterior of the monument. The pond-barrow is visible on the most recent Google Earth orthoimage taken 18/11/2018.
