What is recorded here

In pasture on either side of the Glenatrahaun Stream that marks the boundary with Ballynagally. In close proximity to a number of barrows (LI024-224/226/322/070----). Not depicted on the OS maps. Identified by Bruff aerial photographic survey in 1986 (Bruff 33(02); AP 4/3668) as a concentration of linear cropmarks located either side of the stream. Visible on Digital Globe orthoimage taken 2011-3013 and Google Earth orthoimage taken 18/11/2018 as a series of linear channels. These linear features are the remnants of drainage works on either side of the stream. See attached Bruff aerial survey image labelled Bruff 33(02).
