In reclaimed pasture, 92m W of a stream that marks townland boundary with Boherroe and 178m E of stream that marks townland boundary with Ballyphilip. Ring-barrow (LI024-179001-) lies 27m to N and linear earthworks (LI024-179002-) lie 48m to SE. Not depicted on OS historical mapping. Identified by the Bruff aerial photographic survey in 1986 (Bruff 24; AP 4/3665) as a small circular cropmark of a possible ring-barrow. Cropmark is not visible on OSi orthophoto taken 2005-12. Possible trace of cropmark on the Google Earth orthoimage taken 28/06/2018. Cropmark on Bruff Survey image unconvincing evidence for the presence of a ring-barrow at this location. May be a feature related to land drainage or geomorphological feature.
See attached Google Earth orthoimage taken 28/06/2018 and Bruff survey image marked 24.
