The precise location of this pit burial within the townland has not been identified. The burial was found in a sand pit in the townland of Corelish West, in the vicinity of Pallasgreen. According to a letter 19/08/1934 to the director of the National Museum of Ireland, the site consisted of roughly circular-shaped pits (D 3ft [0.9m]) each capped by a single stone were discovered. They contained small bones and ashes, with one of the diagnostic bones later identified as the mandible of a juvenile (NMI Topographical Files). Not known of locally.
