In low-lying, wet pasture, cut by land drains and watercourses. An enclosure (LI023-164----) lies 145m to NW. Not depicted on OSi historic maps. Identified by low-altitude oblique aerial photography taken by the ASI in 2002, as a substantial suboval-shaped cropmark (ASIAP 309, 13 & 14). Monument is visible as a large oval-shaped cropmark (43m ENE-WSW; 32m NNW-SSE) on OSi orthoimage taken 2005-2012, although is not visible on Digital Globe orthophoto taken 2011-2013 or on Google Earth orthoimage taken 28/06/2018.
