On the dry margin just above the edge of the floodplain of the Camoge River, located 200m to S. The site is 100m W of the townland boundary with Knockcorragh. Ringfort (LI023-086----) 55m to S. Not depicted on historic OSi maps but is visible on OSi orthoimage taken 2005-2012. Identified by Bruff aerial photographic survey in 1986 (Bruff 255; AP 4/3659) as a circular ring-barrow (ext. diam. c. 5m). The ring-barrow appears to have been partially truncated by a later E-W orientated field boundary that runs over its N side. The site is visible on Google Earth orthoimage taken 28/06/2018.
See attached Bruff survey image showing the ring-barrow labelled Bruff 255 and Google Earth orthoimage
