On the N side of a ridge with good views N, E and W. Located 30m SW of the historic road/trackway (LI023-241----) overlooking the Camoge River 580m to N. Cave site (LI023-240----) 270m to S near the summit of the ridge. The barrow is not depicted on historic OSi maps but is visible on OSi orthoimage taken 2005-12. Identified by Bruff aerial photographic survey in 1986 (Bruff 118; AP 4/3665) as a circular ring–barrow (ext. diam. c. 15m) defined by a fosse. The N side of the barrow abuts an E-W field boundary. The site is visible on Google Earth orthoimages taken 05/04/2006, 16/03/2016 and 28/06/2018.
