Earthwork complex described in 1943 as following; 'Complex of 2 Earthworks of Type A and 3 Ring-barrows. The second barrow lies to the south east of the last monument [LI032-099001-] described, and is separated from it by a distance of 60' [18m]. This consists of a very slight mound surrounded by a fosse. It is not quite circular, but its average overall diameter is 36' [11m]. All five monuments are in a lowland marshy meadow' (O'Kelly 1942-3, 172). Outline of monument visible today on Digital Globe aerial photograph.
