What is recorded here

In damp, level pasture. Circular area (18m N-S; 17m E-W) defined by scarped edge (Wth 3.75m; H 1.5) with external fosse (overall Wth 11.05m; basal Wth 4.8m; D 0.7m). Outer bank (Wth 4.6m at base; Wth 1.1m at top; int. H 0.7m; ext. H 0.35m) is breached (c. Wth 2-3m) at regular intervals; breach (Wth 7m) is a possible water inlet at WNW and breach (Wth 3m) an outlet at ENE towards the Ahnavar stream. Aerial photograph (Bruff Survey) shows this is conjoined on its SE side to another ringfort (LI023-324----). Compiled by: Denis Power Date of upload: 14 November 2013
