Enclosure described in 1942-3 as following; 'This consists of a high mound of earth around the edge of which are slight traces of a bank. It has a deep wide fosse. The monument has been partially removed on the north side. The entrance is not recognisable. The mound is 15' [4.5m] high over the fosse-bottom in places. The overall diameter is 150' [47m]. The sides of the mound are densely overgrown. It is situated in fairly good low-land' (O'Kelly 1942-3, 224). Tree-covered monument clearly visible today on Digital Globe aerial photographs.
