Enclosure described in 1942-3 as following; 'This seems to have been an earthen platform structure. It has been completely levelled out on the north side but a considerable portion of it remains on the east, south and west sides. On these sides, too, the fosse remains, but is gone on the north side. The height of the platform on the south side is 4' [1.2m] and the overall diameter is 120' [36m]. Situated in wet lowland. The entrance is not recognisable' (O'Kelly 1942-3, 229). Outline of monument visible today on Digital Globe aerial photographs, monument clearly visible on earlier OSi aerial photographs.
