What is recorded here

Monument described in 1943 as following; 'This is a rectangular structure enclosed by a stone bank now very collapsed. The overall dimensions are 84' [26m] north-south and 60' [18m] east-west. The bank seems to have been from 7' [2m] to 10' [3m] thick. Most of the east side is completely gone, and the entrance is not recognisable. There is no fosse. The monument is densely overgrown' (O'Kelly 1942-3, 177). The outline of the monument is clearly visible today on Digital Globe aerial photographs.
