On a slight S-facing slope, in pasture, with excellent views from NE-E-S-W, overlooked by higher ground from W-NW-N-NE, 90m to E of a townland boundary with Liskilly. Ringforts (LI021-052/055----) lie 150m to NW and 230m to E, respectively. Not depicted on OS historic mapping. Monument surveyed by the ASI in 2000 and described as no surface remains visible, although burnt stone and black earth are seen when the ground is probed. According to local information this is a burnt spread which was uncovered during land reclamation. Monument is not visible on Digital Globe orthophotos taken 2011-13 or on Google Earth orthoimages taken 28/06/2018.
See attached Google Earth orthoimage.
