On a slight S-facing slope, in pasture, with good views from E-S-W, which are restricted elsewhere. Enclosure (LI021-157003-) lies 20m to E. Depicted on the 1897 ed. OS 25-inch map as a curvilinear field boundary enclosing a semicircular-shaped area (approx. diam. 40m) from NW-N-E-SE. Monument identified as an enclosure in the Adare Bypass Constraint Study (Ref. 31/A/3, p. 41). Monument surveyed by the ASI in 2000 and described as no surface remains visible. Potential monument is visible as a curvilinear field boundary on Digital Globe orthophotos taken 2011-13 and on Google Earth orthoimages taken 28/06/2018.
