In gently-undulating pasture. A circular area (diam. 12.7m) enclosed by a fosse (D 0.3m; Wth 1.55m) with an external earthen bank (ext. H 0.6m; int. H 1.1m). The interior slopes gently up towards the centre. Both the interior and the enclosing element are covered by scrub vegetation and there is a stand of ash trees at the centre. The bank has dry-stone facing on its external face W->NE, where it forms part of an E-W field boundary. A second field boundary abuts the bank at S, on the W side of which is a gap (Wth 2m) in the enclosing bank. There is a second gap in the bank at W (Wth 7.4m), and probably a third at E but this area is covered by dense vegetation overgrowth.
