In pasture on a slight N-facing slope, with excellent views to the N, W and E, poorer views to the S onto higher ground. Located 275m W of the townland boundary Garranroe, ringfort (LI021-049---) 275m to SW and a large enclosure (LI021-052----) lies 430m to SE. Depicted as a large circular-shaped enclosure (diam. c. 65m) on the 1840 ed. OSi 6-inch map. Shown on the 1897 ed. OSi 25-inch map as an oval-shaped field (ext. diam. 60m N-S; 57m E-W) with straightened sides at N and W at the junction of three fields. The site has been levelled and was inspected in 2000 by the ASI and described as having no extant trace above ground level where all field boundaries relating to the monument have been removed. No surface remains visible on Google earth orthophotos taken 28/06/2018 and 14/02/2000.
