In level pasture with good to moderate views in all directions, enclosure (LI021-043----) lies 325m to N. The site is depicted as a circular enclosure (diam. c. 40m) lined with deciduous trees on the 1840 ed. OSi 6-inch map on the NW boundary of a historic farmstead. The site is depicted as a circular embanked enclosure (ext. 36m N-S; 34m E-W) on the 1897 ed. OSi 25-inch map surrounded on the N, E and S side by a field boundary 1-2m outside the embankment. Inspected by the ASI in 2000, and described as a raised circular-shaped area (int. diam. c. 30m) enclosed by an earthen bank (Wth 4.2m; H int. 0.4; ext. 1.35m) with no external fosse visible. The site is densely overgrown and is only accessible on the W side. A field boundary, depicted on the 1897 ed. OSi 25-inch map, runs from the SE side of the ringfort bank to the S. Monument visible as a circular-shaped overgrown tree-covered earthwork on Google Earth orthoimage taken 28/06/2018 and 14/02/2020. The NW quadrant of the ringfort is visible as a tree line.
