What is recorded here

Known as St Senan's Well and 'situated in this churchyard (LI019-012002-), but was closed up by the casting in of gravel and other rubbish' (Ó Danachair 1955, 215). According to Spellissy (1989 173) 'was frequented as a pligrimage site into the early nineteenth century.' There is now no evident trace of it in this graveyard and it is not shown on any edition of the OS map. Compiled by: Denis Power Date of Upload: 3 August 2012
